Appointed to the Board in October 2024, Devin Steele works for the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office FOIA Department, assisting in coordinating and procuring various requests and tasked with managing the Department’s records for public availability. He possesses several years of public sector experience.

A native of Livingston County, he graduated from Brighton Area High School. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in theology and ecclesiastical history from Hope College.

Devin lives in Whitmore Lake with his partner, Jamie, and their cat, Castro.
