Introducing Our New 24/7 Lockers!
Thank you to all of our 2025 Annual Appeal donors who helped make this improvement possible.
If you’ve ever wished the Library was open 24 hours a day so you could get your holds anytime, you’re going to love our new locker system! You’ll now be able to pick up holds 24/7 with our outdoor lockers. Your materials will be there when you are ready to get them, even if that’s 5am.
- Choose Brighton District Library Lockers as the pickup location when you place a hold through the Library catalog, or request pickup at the Lockers when placing a hold with staff.
- When you are notified your items are available, you will have 7 days to pick up your materials.
- Lift the shade from the touch screen and scan the barcode of your library card. Or press Pickup on the screen, and manually enter your card number. (Your pin is required with manual entry).
- The locker(s) with your materials will open and all items will be checked out to you automatically.
- Select whether you want an email receipt or no receipt.
- Remove all of your items & close the locker door(s) and make sure to lower the shade.
