Ebooks
Download Destination is a group of libraries in the TLN Consortia that collects, organizes and provides access to free downloadable ebook, audiobooks and music to consortium members. To see a list of member libraries click here. Services and the Download Destination website are provided by OverDrive.
To use Download Destination you need:
An active Brighton District Library account
Your 14-digit library card number
Your Pin number
Brighton District Library only provides Download Destination for users in the service population area because of our licensing agreement with Overdrive.

Brighton patrons are able to access a collection of 15,000 titles through the MEL Ebooks collection. You will be able to browse and read these titles online from your own computer.
Audiobooks
We have joined with a group of regional libraries to provide downloadable media services through OverDrive Digital Media

Downloading eAudiobooks on a Mobile Device
- See our instructions for how to download eBooks to Ipod / iPhone / iPad,but browse for MP3 Audiobooks instead of eBooks (use the same process for other app-based mobile devices after downloading the OverDrive Media Console app for your device)
For kids, we have Tumblebooks, animated storybooks.
We also have playaways, a simple way to listen to audiobooks, for both adults and kids. Each Playaway comes with the digital content already pre-loaded on it. Simply add a battery and plug in earbuds!
Finally, the library has many audiobooks on CD
