Saturday, March 13, 2:00p.m.  (A/B Room)
A basic introduction to puberty and the challenges young girls face today. Presented by local pediatrician, Dr. Mary Khunger. Registration begins Feb. 27. Parents and girls 9 & up.

Ready or Not, Here I Come!
Monday, April 26, 7:00p.m.—8:30 p.m. (A/B Room)
Explore the stages necessary for kindergarten readiness and future school success.  Presented by  Dr. Mark Bowers PhD Pediatric Psychologist. Registration begins April 12.

ABCs of Nurturing: Social Emotional Development
Thursday, March 25, 6:30-7:30 p.m.  (Room A/B)
Help your young child develop self-control and self-esteem by teaching proper reactions to emotional matters. Presented by Jeri Lea Kroll, LMSW Therapist and Consultant, and Jennifer Lange, LMSW, Great Start Livingston Parent Coalition. Registration begins March 11.

Class Act Readers Theatre Production
Saturday, March 13, 1:30p.m. (Youth Dept.)
Working with the elements of costuming, set design, sound effects and voice characterization Class Act Readers Theatre will present Moon Soup and Little Blue Riding Hood. Ages 5 up.

Early Winter Weekend Programs

Saturday Morning Kids’ Chess
Saturdays, 10:00-Noon  (A/B Room)
Bring your own chess set and  play the game of strategy with a friend. All levels of ability are welcome. Adult participation suggested. Drop-in. Ages 7 and up.

Let’s Get Creative with LEGO
Saturday , March 20, 1:00-3:30 p.m.  (A/B Room)
Get creative and have fun with the LEGO building blocks that we provide. Open play. Adult participation required for kids 7 and under. Ages 5-12.

Scottish Highland Dancing
Saturday, March 27, 1:30-2:30 p.m. (Room A/B)

Join us for a special one-on-one bonding time with baby, while enjoying stories, songs, rhyme and play. Adult participation required. Registration begins Feb 15.. Ages 1 - 2

Drop in Storytimes

Mother Goose Cafe'
Fridays, March 5 - March 26, 10:30 a.m. -Noon (A/B Room)
Share stories, rhymes, finger plays and bubbles. Group play and refreshments conclude the program. Adult participation required. Free tickets required and will be made available 30 minutes prior to the event, limited to 75 participants.. All Ages. (Next session will be from April 23 - May 14)

Bright Start Playgroup
Fridays, March 5 - April 9, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
(Youth Dept.)
Bond with your baby through books, music and play. Let us suggest great books for your little one. Adult participation, drop in. . Ages 6 - 18 months

Music, Movement and More

Explore music, instruments and body movement while helping your child get ready to read. Adult participation. Free ticket required and will be made available 30 minutes prior to the program. Limited to 45 participants. All Ages.
