Book: Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
Reviewer: Alec B. (11th Grade)
This book was a fast read for me; I couldn’t put it down once I started. It was a fast-paced, intense read, with new revelations every page. The one issue I had with it was that many characters such as the Countess Adrenyi and Princess Dragomiroff had rather unconventional names, so they initially all blended together in my head. Overall though, it was an excellent book, and I’d recommend it to anyone who likes mystery, especially that in the vein of Sherlock Holmes, as the similarities between Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes’ characters are striking.
