Teen Programs in March

Join us for a yoga session taught by Denise Johnson from Always Time for Yoga LLC.  Remember to bring a towel or yoga mat, and water.  For ages 9-14. Register beginning February 18.

Great writers are made, not born. The Brighton District Library’s Teen Writers’ Workshop helps tomorrow’s John Green or J.K. Rowling plot a course in the literary world. Facilitated by Erma Bombeck Award-winning humorist Mike Ball, this workshop is fun and rewarding. Young writers enjoy a free-wheeling camaraderie with other aspiring writers, and receive positive reinforcement as they progress. For teens grades 7-12. Registration begins two weeks prior to each workshop.

Create awesome geometric art using tape. No artistic skill is required.  Register beginning February 23. For teens 7-12th grade.

Join us for crafting and snacks.  We’ll have a new craft every month lead by our Teen Advisory Board members.  Each month will feature a different craft chosen and run by other teens. Drop In, no registration necessary.

March is reading month, so let’s sink our teeth into some new books! Our teen librarian will tell you about some of the hottest new teen books out this month while you snack away.  Teens who attend will get first dibs to check out the most popular teen titles this month. Register starting March 9. For teens 7-12th grade
