Newsletter News

Announcing the newest way to keep in touch with what’s happening at the Library.  Beginning in 2010, Brighton District Library will be producing an email newsletter.  With more color and space for information than is available in our printed newsletter, this will be the most complete and timely update of what the Library is offering.

This new service is one of several changes in how we connect with our community.  This effort is driven by our 2009 Library Strategic Planning process, which mandated exploring more effective communication strategies, by reductions in Library revenues in the current economy, and by considerations of environmental sustainability.

Another big change is that the Library’s Winter 2010 Newsletter, coming out in January, will be the last to be mailed to every household in our district.  Although the mass mailed newsletter will cease, you can sign up to receive a printed newsletter in the mail three times a year, if that is the best way for you to get information about our events and services.  That newsletter will be available to pick up at the library as well.

Click here to choose the way you prefer to receive your newsletter.
